Guess who's back (and with a book deal in my panniers!)
Hey fellow Wanderers!
It's been a while since I've graced these digital pages with my tales of two-wheeled adventures, but I have a good excuse: I've been busy turning my travels into a real-life book!
Remember those epic rides to Nordkapp and Tarifa? Well, they weren't just fodder for this blog – they've been transformed into "North to Norway," my debut travel memoir hitting shelves (and e-readers) in early 2025!
Yesterday, I sent off the third draft to my long-suffering editor (who deserves a medal for deciphering my scribbles and questionable grammar). With the photos chosen and the front cover design finalized, it's all starting to feel incredibly real. Months of hunkering down in my office, wrestling with words and reliving those incredible journeys, are finally paying off.
I can't wait to share this book with you all. It's packed with adventure, laughter, and a healthy dose of "what the heck was I thinking?" moments. Think of it as a love letter to Europe, with a side of motorcycle mayhem and a generous helping of questionable decisions.
Stay tuned for updates on the release date and how to snag yourself a copy (digital or paperback). And in the meantime, keep the rubber side down and the Wanderlust burning!
Cheers,
Stephen
Jukka - good to hear from you. You've had a big year on the bike! I rode to Italy this summer. You are mentioned in the book. Keep watching this space for details. Cheers, Stephen
I really enjoyed reading the episodes about your Norway trip on Substack Stephen. Can't wait to pick up a copy of your book when it is released.
